Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on www.etsmakine.com and its language versions. You can find details of the personal data processed through cookies and of your rights in our Privacy Notice.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. They make the site work, remember your preferences and measure visits. Cookies can be set by the site you visit (first-party cookies) or by other companies whose services the site uses (third-party cookies).

How we use cookies

• Essential cookies are needed for the site to work and stay secure. They do not depend on your consent and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site.
• Advertising cookies let us measure whether our ads lead to quote and contact requests, and help show you more relevant ads.

Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Until you do, Google tags set no cookies and send only signals for aggregate measurement that cannot identify you (Google Consent Mode), and the Meta Pixel sends no measurement data.

Cookies used on our website

Essential cookies

• ets_consent (Ets Makine, 1 year): remembers your choice in the cookie banner (accept or reject).
• __cf_bm (Cloudflare, 30 minutes): protects our website against malicious automated traffic.
• cf_clearance (Cloudflare, 30 minutes by default): remembers that you passed a security check; set only when a check is shown.
• payload-token (Ets Makine, 8 hours): keeps the session open, only for our staff who sign in to the admin panel.

Analytics cookies

• _ga (Google Analytics, 2 years): distinguishes visitors to produce usage statistics.
• Cookie starting with _ga_ (Google Analytics, 2 years): stores the session state and the number of visits.

Advertising cookies

• _gcl_au (Google Ads, 90 days): measures how ad clicks turn into quote and contact requests.
• _gcl_aw (Google Ads, 90 days): stores the click information when you arrive by clicking a Google ad.
• _fbp (Meta Pixel, 90 days): measures visits and helps show ads on Facebook and Instagram.
• _fbc (Meta Pixel, 90 days): stores the click information when you arrive by clicking a Meta ad.

Google and Meta may also use cookies on their own domains. You can find the details in the Google and Meta cookie policies.

Embedded content

Videos on our website do not connect to YouTube until you press play. When you play a video, it opens in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube (Google) may use its own cookies or similar technologies. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, and Google may also use its own cookies for it.

How to change your preferences

You can accept or reject cookies in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your decision at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing your consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly. To turn off Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
